Easyfit Talk – Training and exercise

Training and exercise

What should I know about training goals?

Training goals are essentially the goals you set for yourself when you start using your Easyfit Talk. Actually, they are the number of steps you take during the day. Steps are behind the development of the goal ladder which you can set on your device. When setting your goals, you can choose from 24 available sports and create your own personal exercise list covering 5 of the 24 available sports. You can decide how much time you want to dedicate to each sport throughout the day. Based on how much time you allot to each activity, as well as on the height and weight information you entered when first accessing the app, the program will tell you the exact amount of calories you will burn when completing the selected activity. At any time of the day, this will give you a complete picture of the calories you’ve burned and of how many you should burn by day’s end if you reach all your goals.

How do I find out how much closer I am to my goal?

In the exercise section of your app you’ll be able to check in real time the movements you have made on an hourly basis; in actual fact you’ll find sessions lasting roughly half an hour each in which for every single pre-uploaded sport you’ll see the percentage of hourly goal achieved and the calories you’ve burned up to that particular moment.

This is the app’s “Activity” section. In the first box, you’ll be able to see the rosettes of the sports you’ve previously selected: remember that you can select up to 5 from a list of 24 sports. In the centre of the screen you’ll see the total Kcal you will burn if you reach your goals.

In the bottom part, you’ll see the movements made every twenty minutes. You will also be able to see how much each movement has contributed to reaching your daily goal. This figure is expressed as a percentage.

How do I set more sports throughout the day?

You can select up to 5 sports from the list of sports uploaded onto the app. Here are the sports you can add:

  • Skipping
  • Climbing

The walking mode is the default setting, while the running mode is calculated by the system every time it detects an acceleration between steps.

Tap on “+” in the “Activity” section and create your list of sports: you can also select the days of the week when you play these sports and can set a reminder if you’re worried about forgetting them.

How to start training with Easyfit Talk
Every time you decide to exercise, just launch the training mode from the display on your Easyfit Talk. To access the training menu from the display of your Easyfit Talk, swipe upwards until you see the “Training” menu.
Tap on the display when you see the Training menu, then tap again until you find the sport for which you wish to start training.
Press and hold down anywhere on the Easyfit Talk display and the training session will start. Each sport has its own counter: some sports are monitored by counting repetitions, such as the number of jumps for skipping, while others are measured by the duration of the training session.
What do I need to know about fitness tracking on the Easyfit Talk?

Any fitness training tracked on your device will be displayed under the “Activity” section of your app; always remember that all the information on the training sessions can be seen in this section.

Does my Easyfit Talk have a GPS function?

No, your Easyfit Talk does not have this feature.

    What is the exercise reminder?

This is a warning you can set to remind yourself to move if you’re inactive. It’s a useful feature if you have a sedentary lifestyle, in which case we recommend activating it; if you are active then don’t worry, you won’t see this notification very often.

Every half hour you will feel your Easyfit Talk vibrating to remind you that you should move around. This will only happen if you haven’t moved at all for half an hour.
